Edgaras Bolšakovas is a Lithuanian philosopher, researcher, and cultural curator affiliated with the Institute of Philosophy at Vilnius University. His academic work focuses on film philosophy, the philosophy of history, and metaphilosophy, with particular attention to how cinema shapes memory, perception, and human understanding.
Alongside his scholarly work, he has been active in Lithuania's film culture as a coordinator, curator, and moderator of cinema-related programs and public discussions, including work connected with the European Film Festival Scanorama and the experimental film festival Suspaustas laikas.
